Peter Schiff might run for the U.S. senate in his home state of Connecticut if he can get enough support!
To show your support, go to his site: Schiff For Senate and make a donation. All U.S. citizens and permanent U.S. residents may donate.
If he gets enough donations he will run. If he doesn’t have enough support he will refund your donation. Minus the hookers and beer (j/k).
If you don’t know Peter Schiff, he’s the one who most visably predicted the economic crisis. Here is a video of him arguing with people who said he was full of baloney:

I’m a former Republican who left the GOP when the fundementilist/Neoconservative movement took it over.Gingrich began this decline.Bush 2 destroyed the party,and darn near the country!Peter Schiffs run for the Senae might bring a new day to the moriboundmand cretinous GOP.However,if he succumbs to to the GOP mantra’s since 94,of blaming the less well off,the desperatly poor,or lecturing people who have lost thre jobs to Wall Street/Corporate moves abroad that its just ‘the American way’(It isnt) he will be just another Republican stuffed shirt. The monstrously unnecessarwar against Iraq,unfair trade,and allowing the crooks on Wall Street and The all powerful Federal Reserve brought the U,S down.People are tired of ideology,they want solutions beyond the often simple-minded left-right divide.
